Advisory Regarding Vendor / Service Provider Recommendations
- As a convenience to you, I am providing you with a list of vendors and/or service providers for your consideration and convenience. The list is based on vendors that I have worked with or had positive experiences with or have been recommended to by agents or by trusted third parties. The vendors included herein are provided for your information and reference only. You are not obligated to use any or all of these vendors and you may elect to use other vendors. Be advised that these Vendors have not been vetted by Broker or Agent with regard to insurance or licensing, as may be required by relevant regulatory agencies. You should conduct your own research and satisfy yourself as to all Vendor qualifications and fee structure. Neither Compass nor agent guarantees the performance, adequacy, or completeness of inspections, services, products, or repairs provided by any Vendors.
- Note, work done at your property will involve future disclosures, including, but not limited to, the person(s) who performed the repairs (i) the property owner(ii) if the vendor is a licensed contractor or (iii) if the vendor is an unlicensed tradesperson. California law requires a handyman to have a license for any job over $500. Part of the rationale of the law is that a contractor’s license brings security to homeowners when substantiative work is being done.
